Would you have supported slavery? Are you sure?
Friday, March 16th, 2007Would you have supported slavery. Many people would automatically say NO, they would not have supported slavery, but, are they sure? Slavery is also the product of economics. We buy from overseas because their laws allow for all kinds of atrocities, and we pretend not to know. When given the choice of buying cheap, or not eating, we will always buy cheap; no matter what conditions produced “cheap”. So, do you now support child slavery and other forms of slavery around the world?
