IMMIGRANTS come to America because America is a great country.

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

The sis major reasons why immigrants come to America, in my view, are: Financial opportunities, Better education, Prestige of being an American, Creative expression, Good health and religious freedom.

I think that, as long as America is a country of principles, immigrants will always want to come here. If you don’t want immigrants here, continue to erase our principles, destroy our personal and civil liberties and continue to foster tyranny and the beliefs of the Masters (very rich) over the slaves (very poor) and become a third rate country. Immigrants will then stop coming.

Obama: Be a president of and for ALL the people!

Friday, May 4th, 2007

For Senator Obama to win an election and become our next president, he must be a president of All the people. Saying things that are insightful and politically expedient at the expense of the poor and disenfranchised is not a good thing. I would request that he state clearly what he will do to eliminate the problems facing America today. What could he have done with $500 billion! How will he get rid of systematical racism once and for all? What about poverty?

Microdac energy plan provides tax incentive to individuals who drive cleaner and more efficient cars. This plan would give individuals money back based on the efficiency of their automobile and would encourage auto makers to make more efficient cars. I defend IMUS. He said it and he is sorry!

Wednesday, April 11th, 2007

I defend IMUS (of Imus in the morning).  He made an error and he knows it. It was, I think, a Freudian slip (said in the heat of of the moment), and he apologized  for what he said. he was being sincere , I believe him and he should be forgiven and allowed to get on with his life.  To suspend him or to take him off the air is bowing to hypocrisy!  There are far greater atrocities being done TODAY and far worst acts against humanity that is being ignored by the news media.  They (the news media) should be help accountable for their lack integrity and for their dishonesty in reporting what is NOT news! What about illegal immigrants? Child slavery?  The Iraq war and who is profiting for that war?

Encourage and support a FREE Press in the USA!

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

According to REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERS  Finland, Iceland and Ireland are countries with the freest press in the world. There are no threats or intimidations to their press coverage and they are not threatened by their government for printing the truth. The worst offenders (at the bottom of the heap) are North Korea, Cuba, Saudi Arabia and China (among others).  Any thinking person can fully understand why these countries are at the bottom. The shame for us is that the African countries of Benin, Namibia, Ghana and Mauritius enjoy more freedom of the press than we do.  As far as the numbers goes, Jamaica is #23, The Czech Republic is #5, Canada is #16… and we are #53. We have fallen from #32. How can that be?  Intimidations and threats can have very adverse financial repercussions when our press depends on revenue for their survival.  For a news media to be called unpatriotic for exposing the truth can be the kiss of financial doom.  The ONLY way for newspapers to survive is to have the support of the readers! Without the truth there are too many hidden secrets that can be detrimental to our very freedom as Americans.  Judges, for example, that rule base on their politics (rather than justice) is a terrible practice that can only be highlighted by  FREE PRESS! Now more than ever, it is extremely important that you support journalist that put their lives on the line for freedom! So far, 97 journalist have been murdered in Iraq.

I SUPPORT THE VOLT: GM’s new electric car.

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

If you drive less than 40 miles back and forth to work each day, you would be driving FUEL-FREE. That’s right, fuel free. The first 40 miles on this car is ran on just electricity which is recharged by simply plugging in your car in your 110 outlet.  For every 100,000 cars that would be a savings of over $3,300,000.00 a year at today’s gasoline prices. How many cars do you have in your city! Yes, it goes 100mph, and yes, it goes from 0 - 60 in about 8 seconds! Yes, it has a range of about 640 miles (with its E85 engine).

Would you have supported slavery? Are you sure?

Friday, March 16th, 2007

Would you have supported slavery. Many people would automatically say NO, they would not have supported slavery, but, are they sure? Slavery is also the product of economics. We buy from overseas because their laws allow for all kinds of atrocities, and we pretend not to know. When given the choice of buying cheap, or not eating, we will always buy cheap; no matter what conditions produced “cheap”.  So, do you now support child slavery and other forms of slavery around the world?

Let your voice be heard - Vote with your dollars.

Monday, March 5th, 2007

Your vote at the ballot box does not always matter.  Unless you support a lobbyist or have inside influence, your views are not important. BUT, when you vote with your dollar bills, AND, you encourage your friends to do the same, then your voice is heard loud and clear. If Justice matters, don’t support companies where injustice rules for the sake of profits. If the environment to you, then don’t support companies who preach that global warming is a myth. Use your dollars to support companies that share your values and sense of ethics.  If  torture and human misery is unacceptable to you, then don’t buy the products made under poor human conditions.

I played golf yesterday: It was a good day!

Sunday, February 25th, 2007

The truth is that golf is one of my three passions. I love golf. Golf, unlike life for the most part, is totally honest. The result of your golf stroke is immediate and consequential. Even Tiger Woods suffered because of his neglect in paying attention to details. Unfortunately, unlike golf, far too many times human beings are destroyed not because of objectivity and fairness, but, as the result of flaws in our justice system. Because of the injustices built into our Legal system, far too many people are wrongfully convicted of crimes they never commit. If we are to change our system to one of integrity and fairness, we must first change ourselves. You, the individual, must make the difference between justice and injustice, by SPEAKING OUT. Apathy is no longer an option. you, could be the next victim of entrapment, false witness, racial profiling, targeting, over zealous prosecutors, political expediency, prejudice, hatred, and false religious assumptions; none of which has anything to do with JUSTICE. The next time you keep quiet when exposed to injustice (Yours or a stranger) , YOU have given your support to INJUSTICE. That is how powerful you are!

Support our troops (Beacuse they have earned it)

Saturday, February 24th, 2007

Support our troops because they have earned it. You enjoy the freedoms that you do, not because of the folly of politicians, but  because our troops have given them the freedom to make these follies. Our troops have died for our freedoms, your job is simply to not do anything to destroy these freedoms. The have fought to give us the rights and liberties that we enjoy. Our job is not to be convinced that it is OK  to suspend these freedoms.  Honor our troops not with bumper stickers but by living as Americans: ONE NATION , INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
